At a Farmers' Market you can purchase seasonal, fresh, local produce directly from the local farmers, growers
and processors. At our markets you can expect to find organic and specialist meats including ostrich,
hams bacon and sausages, seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, preserves, traditionally made breads,
a wealth of savoury and sweet baked products, local cheeses, ice-creams, beer, wines and ciders,
local produced ready meals and much more.
Our markets are accredited by F.A.R.M.A. (National Farmers Retail and Markets Association)
and our producers adhere to a set of rules to ensure that we bring you only excellent
quality fresh local food. Our meats and vegetables are 100% local* and all secondary produce
ie jams, cakes are all made using a percentage of local ingredients.
*We try to source all products from within a 30 mile radius of each market. However if we are unable
to source within that area we will find the nearest producer within a radius of 100 miles.

Leicester : 1st Thursday in the month 10.00am – 4.00pm. Location : Humberstone Gate. LE1 1WA
Burbage : 1st Saturday of the month 9.00am – 1.30pm. Location : Windsor Street. LE10 2EF
Lutterworth : 2nd Saturday of the month 9.00am – 1.30pm. Location : Lutterworth Town Hall Car Park. LE17 4EH
Kibworth Beachamp: 2nd Saturday of the month 9.00am - 1.00pm Location: Kibworth High School, LE8 0LG
Earl Shilton: 3rd Saturday of the month 9.00am - 1.30 pm Location Wood Street LE9 7NE
Blaby : 4th Saturday of the month 9.00am – 1.00pm. Location : Blaby & District Social Centre Car Park. LE8 4GG

We are always pleased to hear from new producers, local community groups, schools and organisations who are interested in standing at the market. We also welcome any ideas or comments on our markets from our customers.

Leicestershire Food Links also runs one day markets and special events. We can provide a consultation service for those thinking of setting up their own markets and provide talks and demonstrations for groups.
