We are looking for a Manager for our Farmers' Market at Leicester with occasional work as a locum when other managers are on holiday or unavailable at our other markets at Burbage, Blaby and Lutterworth, Kibworth Beauchamp and Earl Shilton.
Managers are self-employed and paid a set rate for an average 15 hours per monthly market (£125)
Market Manager's Duties include:-
Set up and clear up of the market
Management of the Market on the day helping shoppers and producers and dealing with any problems arising
Liaison with producers, local authorities,organisations and individuals to ensure the smooth running of the market during the month
Collection, receipting and banking of cash
Completion of financial and written reports
Assistance with the organisation of special events at the market
Publicity and marketing of the Farmers' Market
Attendance at a managers meeting every 6 - 8 weeks. |
